Counter system for the Centre Atert in Bertrange, Luxembourg
The Rosskopf + Partner AG produced an remarkable and equally impressively large counter system for the multi-purpose hall "Centre Atert" in the small village of Bertrange in Luxembourg on behalf of the joinery Hubor & Hubor GmbH in Mettendorf.
It was a 23 m long counter made of 20 mm thick quartz stone Silestone®. The 11 parts of the counter system are rounded at the outer edge and have an doubling to 40 mm at the inner edge. Since the outer edge had to close flush with the existing counter, a particularly precise production with stencils as well as precise plate impacts were necessary here. The counter stands out not only for its long and curved shape, but also for its unusual colour "Rojo Eros". The shape is loosened by elongated cut-outs for light elements.
