miru® - Modular Design Counters
With the decisive implementation of traditional craftsmanship, modern machinery and trending technologies, Rosskopf + Partner has been planning, designing, manufacturing and installing solutions for reception areas using solid surface material for over 35 years. Whether creating furnishings in classic shapes, sophisticated modern designs or by combining different materials – our team knows each of its products inside out.
With the modular counter program miru®, we transfer decades of expertise and proven experience into a partially standardized production system. The 8 worlds of design created by the renowned Vietzke & Borstelmann Architects represent a superordinate matrix that reflects certain spatial situations or also creates new atmospheres. The styles are described using pairs of opposites, such as: minimalist vs neo-baroque / classical modern vs futuristic / natural vs artificial and/or expressive vs reservedly calm. The spectrum ranges from puristic simplicity, through refined complexity, to timeless elegance. Our product range for reception solutions is protected by design and trademark laws.

Craftsmanship meets Architecture
As a solid surface material pioneer, we have been working closely together with top architects and designers for decades to bring unique worlds of creative shapes to life. With Thomas Vietzke and Jens Borstelmann, we have a trusting working relationship that has grown over many years. What began with the large-scale project Hotel Puerta America and Zaha Hadid is now culminating in a jointly developed product system.
Vietzke & Borstelmann Architects stand for innovative, tailor-made architecture. With complex shapes and geometries, they create a natural aesthetic in their designs. At the head of the office are Thomas Vietzke and Jens Borstelmann, who met at Zaha Hadid Architects. From 2001 to 2014, they created numerous award-winning designs and projects in London and Hamburg and in 2014, they founded their own office in Hamburg. The merging of digital techniques with conventional craftsmanship and the passion for innovative, sustainable materials have shaped their work for many years.

What is special about the miru® reception counters and what are the advantages?
High Quality - As a specialist in solid surface materials and other hard materials (such as ceramics and natural stone), Rosskopf + Partner understands how to appropriately implement exclusive design atmospheres for the architecture and design community in the highest quality.
Durable + Sustainable - When selecting materials, Rosskopf + Partner relies on particularly durable and robust materials with hard-wearing surfaces. Solid surface material can be easily repaired, sanded, and polished. Because they are modular, the reception counters can be expanded and adapted even after many years.
Barrier Free - Depending on the design line, lowered and wheelchair-accessible modules are also available.
Premium Design - The design lines, which have won the German Design Award, combine a wide variety of design worlds for many discriminative contexts. These lines reflect the handwriting of top architects, Thomas Vietzke and Jens Borstelmann, who met at Zaha Hadid.
Reliable Planning - As part of the modular counter program miru®, you can select standardized modules for individual configuration. There is a download package with a data sheet and the 2D and 3D data for each design line. If you use our configuration book, you can begin designing your counter easily. In addition, our support team is available for advice throughout your planning process.
Cost + Time Efficiency - The standardized modules save time and money in the otherwise time-consuming planning and design phase. When you use available modules, it simplifies and reduces the effort otherwise involved in the design and approval process. In production, you can select existing design drawings, moulds and predefined processes that significantly shortens production.
