Modern Interior for Interactive Exhibition
In Neustadt on the Danube River, the historic building known as "Der Storchenwirt" presents itself in contemporary grandeur. Rosskopf + Partner produced a large part of the interior furnishings on the ground floor for an interactive exhibition of the city's history.
Three-dimensionally shaped wall panelling and arched modules made of solid surface material lend to an ultra-modern appearance in the exhibition space. The rear walls of the showcases are panels constructed using HPL (High Pressure Laminate) and are sealed with laminated safety glass to protect the exhibits. A circular bench in the middle of the room offers visitors the opportunity to obtain additional information via headphones and a tablet. A luminous sleeve on the column above the backrests is an especially impressive feature of the bench. Made of translucent Avonite in the colour ice white, it illuminates the entire room.
