Spandau Arcades

For the Spandau Arcades in Berlin, we fabricated individual seating furniture made of white solid surface material.

In 2011, the shopping centre was modernized to mark its tenth anniversary. The operator, MFI - Management fuer Immobilien AG, placed special emphasis on a friendly atmosphere. Light and earthy colour shades were used to create a warmer atmosphere. An important part of the refurbishment were four new, different-shaped seating islands as well as 14 benches made of HI-MACS^® solid surface material in the colour S06 Arctic White. The trick here: The plants and tree containers existing in the passage were partially integrated into the furniture, so that small relaxation oases literally emerged in the middle of the turbulent shopping mile.
