In addition, wall cladding, a high-quality reception counter system and seating elements made of solid surface material were designed for the interior.
Historical Background of the Schoenhauser Tor
The Schoenhauser Tor in Berlin is an attractive office complex at a historic location. The location is where the Schoenhauser Gate in the Berlin customs wall once stood.
Archway Made of Solid Surface Material
The existing natural stone facade from the year of construction in 1995 was to be visually upgraded with a modern entrance area. To meet that requirement, Rosskopf + Partner AG produced both an outer and an inner archway made of the solid surface material HIMACS. The outer archway was also provided with a graffiti protection coating.
A very special effect is provided by the backlighting of the outer archway that was equipped with an LED grid. Electronic control of the individual LEDs makes it possible to display moving patterns, fonts and symbols as raster images.
