Relaxation Island for the FORTYSEVEN Thermal Wellness Spa
The FORTYSEVEN thermal wellness spa in Baden (Switzerland) builds on a bathing tradition that goes back over 2,000 years. The new bathing area in the spa extends over an area of 4,400 m². It has a specially-designed cosmos area and with it offers a unique experience for the senses.
After passing trough a piazza, the guests enter a dark room, in the middle of which there is a heated shell made of solid surface material. In it is space for at least ten people. With their gaze directed towards the ceiling, visitors look directly at the upper part of the shell, also made of solid surface material, where they can enjoy short film sequences accompanied by music. This composition of light and sound sends the guests on a journey through the endless expanse of the cosmos.
