Barrier-free, modern checkout counter made of solid surface material

The orthopaedic and rehabilitation specialist Orthopädie- und Rehatechnik Dresden helps people to improve their quality of life with its products and services. In its location in a new building, the company has set up a 530 square metre sales area for people with special needs.

Two specific challenges were to ensure the furniture fulfilled all medical requirements and that a pleasant atmosphere was created. We used white solid surface material for a checkout counter with an illuminated plinth where customers can be welcomed from all sides. Wheelchair users can also drive up to a lowered area.
