Design Element with Giant Dimensions for the Nuremberg Exhibition
The new Hall 3C of the NürnbergMesse is one of the most modern exhibition halls in Europe. Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, the building was recently awarded the "Platinum" certificate by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
For the cafeteria on the elevated gallery of the new exhibition hall, we created a special counter. The curved outer contours of the counter compliment the form of the gallery and the flowing lines of the roof contours. The counter is made primarily of solid surface material and is nearly nine meters in length and up to two meters high. The integrated food dispenser consists of robust, highly scratch-resistant quartz stone. In addition, a refrigerated glass display case is integrated into the counter, in which the food is presented. Furthermore, there is ample storage space for sinks, refrigerators and dishwashers.
