Reception Desk at the Bruederkrankenhaus Paderborn

In a hospital, hygiene is an extremely important factor. Well-proportioned and easy-to-clean surfaces simplify daily work. So, at the Bruederkrankenhaus (Brothers Hospital) in Paderborn, Germany, a decision was made to construct a new contemporary reception counter made of Avonite® solid surface material.

The company, Droege Einrichtungen e.K., commissioned us to implement the designs of the architect Kristine Waldorf to create the reception counter, the worktops, and the adjacent columns and wall panelling. Rosskopf + Partner provided a total of 41 individual parts in 3 different colours. The particular challenge of this project was to integrate the reception counter and the superstructure into the existing facility.
