Architecture Office Hemmi Fayet in Zurich
The “handwriting” of the new offices of Hemmi Fayet Architects AG in Zurich is clear. At first glance, the rooms that are nearly six meters high appear to be left unfinished. But they were intended to look a bit "imperfect" – with the exception of their 10-meter-long desks, whose elegant, gap-free surfaces made of solid surface material appear to be poured from a single mould.
The 6 work tables with 10-meter long, bright white table tops made of solid surface material are truly an eye-catcher. They are only 10 mm thick and, therefore, appear to be extremely light and delicate despite their dimensions. Via a central countersunk technology channel, PCs and notebooks can be quickly and easily plugged in and unplugged again.
