Upscale Furniture for Pace University in New York
In January 2019, the students and teachers at Pace University in Manhattan, New York, were provided with stylish new furniture made of solid surface material. The campus area at Pace has been completely redesigned to create a light-filled space for shared learning. With their illuminated interiors, the bright study "nooks" are separate seating niches with tables that create an optimal, quiet learning atmosphere.
In addition to the seating niches, we fabricated an attractive 14-meter-long black counter with an adjoining bench in the study area and, additionally, three reception counters also made of brightly-coloured solid surface material. The substructures consist of multiplex – veneer plywood panels consisting of at least 5 layers. All visible parts are coated with High Pressure Laminate (HPL).
