Quartz material is a synthetic composite material that consists primarily of natural quartz stone to which colour pigments are added. Silestone ® (product and trademark of Cosentino) and Zodiaq ® (product and registered trademark of DuPont) are examples of quartz material. It is used to manufacture worktops for use in kitchens and bathrooms.

Rosskopf + Partner processes and sells solid surface materials, such as HI-MACS® (product and registered trademark of LGHausys) and CORIAN® (product and registered trademark of DuPont).
Solid surface material consists of natural minerals and acrylic polymers. It is used to produce high-quality surfaces. These surfaces offer functionality, an aesthetic appearance and hygiene at the same time. Rosskopf + Partner processes and distributes solid surface materials, such as HI-MACS® (product and registered trademark of LG Hausys) and CORIAN ® (product and registered trademark of DuPont).

Porzellankeramik is a high-density, homogeneous porcelain ceramic surface. Rosskopf + Partner processes this material, for example, into kitchen worktops and floor elements.

Glaskeramik is a ceramic material produced by controlled crystallization of glass melts. The result is a glass-like product with new properties or property combinations. It is possible to process this material to manufacture surfaces surrounding bathroom sinks, kitchen worktops and other counter tops, but also to process attractive presentation areas. Rosskopf + Partner is a processor of carsitec®ceramic (product and registered trademark of Rosskopf + Partner).

Yes, in addition to HI-MACS® (product and registered trademark of LG Hausys), Rosskopf + Partner also processes the solid surface material CORIAN® (product and registered trademark of DuPont).

Rosskopf + Partner offers the following delivery times after order confirmation for Silestone® (product and registered trademark of Cosentino):

1. 2 – 4 weeks for raw sheets of 12 mm and 30 mm material
2. 3 – 4 weeks for finished products made from 20 mm material from the R+P colour collection
3. 4 – 6 weeks for finished products made from 12 mm material
4. 6 – 8 weeks for finished products made from 30 mm material

By request, other delivery times are also possible.
For information about delivery times of other quartz composite materials, please contact your office or field representative.

After order confirmation, Rosskopf + Partner offers the following delivery times for solid surface material:
• 1 week for raw sheets made of HI-MACS® (product and registered trademark of LG Hausys)
• 2 weeks for raw sheets made of CORIAN® (product and registered trademark  of DuPont)
• 1 to 2 weeks for semi-finished products made of solid surface material
• 4 to 6 weeks for finished products made of solid surface material

Household chemicals are generally of no danger to quartz material. However, you should avoid using strong abrasive cleaners, bleach, colouring agents, battery acids, aggressive cleaners, etching materials, hydrofluoric acid, methylene dichloride, caustic soda, paint remover, or similar substances. You are always safe when you use cleaning materials recommended by Rosskopf + Partner. Request maintenance instructions by calling (Tel. +49 (0) 36021 9899-0 ).

Translucency is a characteristic that describes the passage of a limited amount of light through a material. It is not like transparency, which allows you to see through an object. It is mostly unobtrusive and is used frequently for lighting effects in architecture. A well-known example is the award-winning Asian Bar in the Yang Sing restaurant in Manchester, manufactured by Rosskopf + Partner from the solid surface material HI-MACS ® (product and registered trademark of LG Hausys). The translucent bar, designed by the architect, Roberta Fulford, is backlighted with a pattern of cane and reed bending in the wind, which underscores the nature-oriented ambience of the restaurant.

Thermoforming is a process that changes the form of thermoplastic synthetic material. At Rosskopf + Partner, it is used to change the shape of solid surface material.

lavanto®systems (product and registered trademark of Rosskopf + Partner), a private brand of Rosskopf + Partner AG, is an innovative series of sinks, basins, showers, tubs and heating elements made of solid surface material for many different applications. Additionally, basins made of quartz material and stainless steel are available under this brand.

Rosskopf + Partner has a separate sales department for exporting products.
To date, Rosskopf + Partner has delivered products in 25 different countries.

Architects or designers provide Rosskopf + Partner 3D-models of their designs – Rosskopf + Partner separates these models then on a computer into usable part drawings. If a series is to be produced, Rosskopf + Partner first creates a prototype. Only after the prototype has been fully accepted by the customer does production begin.
