A savings bank with an entirely new concept.

A savings bank of a different kind – that was demonstrated very recently by the Sparkasse Kitzbuehel with a self-developed concept for its new youth savings bank. Because young people see the world with different eyes and want to be approached differently. It is a meeting place for teens that is inviting and visible. There is virtually nothing on the interior that reminds you of a classic bank.

The special bank designed to meet the needs of young people was designed to be intentionally casual. In the teller sections, young workers stand ready to provide consulting services. In addition, the lounge area at the Sparkasse Kitzbuehel is open practically around the clock and offers cost-free surfing in the Internet, music for listening or games at the game console.

The modern rooms on the inside were fabricated using the solid surface material HI-MACS® (product and registered trademark of LG Hausys). In addition to doors and wall panelling, the Rosskopf & Partner Group also delivered specially manufactured seating elements, desks and counters made of HI-MACS® (product and registered trademark of LG Hausys) in the colour VW01 Gemini. To complement these units, different elements were designed and fabricated into which the various offers for the young people were firmly installed.

Large glass surfaces allow a view inside the savings bank and lead almost seamlessly into the interior. Inside, a sculptured wall made of solid surface material HI-MACS® (product and registered trademark of LG Hausys) serves as a separator in the teller and lounge areas. In the teller area all technical equipment was integrated into the furniture. The effect is that the overall impression in the room remains homogenous and unobtrusive.

For the Rosskopf & Partner Group there was pressure to complete this project within a very tight implementation schedule which required close coordination and cooperation with other contractors.
