Exclusive Interior for New L'ORÉAL Headquarters in Düsseldorf
The French cosmetics group L'ORÉAL has invested in a new company headquarters in Duesseldorf, Germany. L'ORÉAL’s ultra-modern building stretches over 16 floors with a total area of approximately 22,000 m². Not only the dimensions are impressive, but also the architecture of the building itself with horizontal displacement of the floors.
For this project by HPP Architects, we fabricated a 5-metre long, colour-matched reception counter to complement the reception hall with its dominant theme of white and gold. In addition, the cafeteria area was redesigned placing particular emphasis on functionality. In cooperation with Schumann Moebelwerkstaetten (furniture workshops), we manufactured several different elements using both quartz material and solid surface material. The elements included counters for serving meals that were designed with integrated compartments for crockery, round coffee and dessert counters, cladding for the tray station and custom-made worktops for the kitchen. Various benches, room dividers with built-in containers designed for displaying plants and cash register blocks made with solid surface material ensure an individual ambience, a warm comfortable atmosphere, and efficient processing for visitors.
